How to Use
Dampen face and apply 2–3 pumps. Massage gently in upward circular motions, then rinse and pat dry.
Allow a moment for skin to settle, then follow with Daily Dew Toning Serum and your choice of moisturizer and/or face oil.

A mild cleansing system consisting of coconut-derived surfactants (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI) + Cocamidopropyl Betaine) lift dirt, excess oil, SPF, and daily buildup while creating Fresh Start’s soft, creamy lather. Both are widely used in mild cleansing formulas and help Fresh Start cleanse effectively without the harshness associated with stronger surfactants.

Fresh Start easily removes SPF, daily buildup, and most makeup. For heavy mascara, waterproof, or long-wear eye makeup, we recommend removing that separately before cleansing with Fresh Start.

Yes. Ye Olde Biddy formulas are always sulfate-free, paraben-free, and phthalate-free.

We prefer cleansing twice a day: in the morning to remove overnight oil and buildup, and in the evening to remove SPF, makeup, and the day’s buildup. But cleansing frequency isn’t one-size-fits-all. If your skin is particularly dry or sensitive, you may prefer a thorough evening cleanse and simply rinse with water in the morning.
Fresh Start is gentle enough for twice-daily cleansing, so you can adjust your routine based on what works best for you.

Yes. Fresh Start was designed to gently cleanse the entire face, including the eye area. If you’re particularly sensitive, try a small amount around the eye area first, massage briefly, and rinse thoroughly as directed. Always avoid direct contact with the eyes.

We never use fragrance in our formulas, only essential oils where deemed beneficial to the entire formula.
Fresh Start contains no synthetic fragrance. Its fresh, green, herbal aroma comes from eucalyptus hydrosol and a small amount of clary sage essential oil.

Fresh Start is a rinse off product however it does contain a small amount of clary sage essential oil.
